Clean Technologies

Establishing a strong intellectual property position for cleantech inventions requires a breadth of scientific and legal expertise because such inventions often span a number of traditional scientific disciplines.

Members of our Cleantech group can deliver the necessary expertise. They are drawn from our other specialist patent groups:  Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, Chemistry, Electronics & Computing and Designs & Engineering.

Our clients appreciate that because the patent experts in our specialist technology groups work together at a single site, multi-disciplinary teams can be formed easily.  In fact, multi-disciplinary teamwork has grown to become a day to day feature of our patent practice, especially for clients in the cleantech sector.

Members of our Cleantech group are also active members of the wider cleantech industry.  They are involved in various local and national initiatives, such as WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme), which are designed to reduce waste and recycle more, making better use of resources and helping to reduce the environmental impact of human activities and climate change.

This involvement in the wider cleantech industry helps our members keep up to date with new developments and emerging trends in the sector.
