Tom Harding

BSc (Hons), MSc, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys. In 2011, Tom was awarded the Nick Wilson Memorial Award for obtaining the highest mark overall in one of the UK qualifying exams.

Tom studied genetics at the University of Nottingham followed by an MSc in applied biomolecular technology at the same university. During his MSc, Tom spent time in industry working on the research and development of novel SNP genotyping assays.

Prior to joining Potter Clarkson, Tom spent four years working as a research scientist for AstraZeneca focusing on cancer drug discovery. During this time, Tom carried out cellular and molecular research for early and mid-stage oncology projects and worked on the development of several drug screening strategies including both low-throughput and semi-automated high-throughput assays.

Tom joined Potter Clarkson in February 2009 and specialises in the field of biotechnology and medical uses of small molecules.
