The Graphene Hackathon
16 November 2019 to 17 November 2019 in Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC), Manchester, UK
In a first of its kind, the Graphene Hackathon will be held at the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC), an industry-led innovation centre in Manchester focused on graphene and 2D materials commercialisation.
The event will see experts and enthusiasts, from various technical backgrounds, in high intensity collaboration over the course of a weekend to create prototype products based on conductive graphene inks. This fast-growing field has the transformative potential to develop new intellectual property across a wide range of technologies such as flexible electronics, textile and wearables, energy storage, 3D printing and many more.
As an official affiliate partner of the GEIC, Potter Clarkson is a proud sponsor and supporter of the Graphene Hackathon. Jason Teng, partner and patent attorney at Potter Clarkson, will be attending the event as a mentor to provide practical IP advice to participants.
