Promotions for 2014

We are pleased to announce three promotions that took place on 1 January 2014.

David Clark and Darren Mitchell became Partners, and Daniel Hudson became an Associate.


David Clark read electronic engineering at the University of Warwick. Before joining Potter Clarkson in 2008, he experienced working for two British private practice firms. During his career as a Patent Attorney David has been exposed to a wide variety of technologies, including mobile telephony platforms and applications, RFID systems, optical systems, numerous software implemented inventions, as well as mechanical inventions.

Darren Mitchell read engineering at Kings College, Cambridge, before completing a degree in Industrial Design Engineering at Brunel University. Prior to joining Potter Clarkson in 2002, Darren was a design engineer with a leading product design consultancy in London. Since joining the firm, he has continued to work in the engineering and design fields, as well as handling electrical and textile matters.

Daniel Hudson studied physics at the University of York before moving to the University of Oxford to complete a doctorate related to the analysis of atomic-scale redistribution during the corrosion of nuclear materials. He joined Potter Clarkson in November 2010 and works in the Electronics & Computing Group.
