A first-class graduate of the University of Oxford, Alex joined Potter Clarkson’s trade marks team in December 2021.
Prior to joining Potter Clarkson, Alex spent over two years working in financial marketing for a specialist fund management firm based in London, where he was responsible for carrying out a broad range of marketing, brand-building and PR-related activities.

Awards & Recognition
Alex was awarded a Goldsmith Scholarship by Balliol College, University of Oxford, in recognition of sustained first-class academic performance shown throughout his undergraduate degree. In his first public examination, he received a C.D.D. Gibbs Prize from the University for achieving the fourth-highest overall performance in English language and literature in his cohort.

Interests
Alex has a keen interest in music of all stripes, and harbours an especially unassailable love of Motown, Disco, Soul, and Jazz. Outside of work, he can be found running (preferably recreationally); reading and discussing texts (novels, poems, articles, non-fiction, and periodically the inside of bar menus); enjoying good food, films, documentaries, podcasts, live music, theatre, and comedy; and more recently, tending to an ever-growing array of indoor plants.
