Trainee Solicitor

Christie joined the litigation and licensing team as a paralegal in 2017 and in September 2019 became the firm’s first trainee solicitor.

Christie has worked with a diverse range of clients in industries such as fashion, pharmaceuticals and automotive engineering.  

In recent years Christie has assisted on a range of IP disputes in cases spanning from the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court to the Court of Appeal. Christie has also assisted on cases concerning multi-jurisdictional High Court patent litigation and disputes related to copyright, trade marks and designs.

 

Education

Christie studied English literature at the University of Warwick where she achieved her first degree before she went on to obtain a Graduate Diploma in Law at Oxford Brookes University. She completed her LLM at Nottingham Law School in 2019.

Interests

In her spare time, Christie enjoys attending spinning classes, eating cheese and has a love of miniature dachshunds.
