Isobel McLeod

Trainee Patent Attorney

Isobel brings a strong commercial understanding combined with experience in microbiological academic research.

For her Bachelor’s degree in zoology, Isobel undertook a research project on the evolution of bacterial resistance strategies and as a result contributed as author on two papers published in Nature.

Isobel obtained an MPhil in biochemistry, specialising in medical microbiology. Her work involved investigating the physiological impacts of prophages in a mouse model bacterial pathogen.

She subsequently worked at a healthcare financial communications firm in London, supporting clients’ corporate objectives by strategically creating and sustaining value.

Isobel joined Potter Clarkson’s London office in 2022.

Isobel obtained a first-class Bachelor’s in zoology at the University of Exeter and an MPhil in biological sciences (biochemistry) at the University of Cambridge.
