Senior Associate - Patent Attorney

A highly skilled patent attorney with over 10 years’ experience, Louise specialised in protecting innovations in the chemicals field.

Her work at Potter Clarkson benefits from her strong background in chemistry - her doctoral research focused on the application of asymmetric epoxidation in natural product synthesis and she is an author of several papers. 

Louise joined Potter Clarkson in 2008.

Education

Louise read medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry at Loughborough University and completed her doctorate in synthetic organic chemistry at the University of East Anglia.

Awards & Recognition

At university, she won the AstraZeneca, Charnwood Molecular and University prizes for the highest marks in organic chemistry, the final year research project and best in the year.

Interests

As an ex-junior international swimmer, she continues to have an interest in swimming, as well as running and skiing. Outside sport, she enjoys good food and wine!
