Senior Associate - Trade Mark Attorney

Lucy is a skilled trade mark attorney with extensive experience in multiple market sectors, including fashion, consumer goods, life science and service sector businesses.

She is known for providing clients with clear and commercially focused strategic advice to help protect, enforce and maximise the value of their brand assets.  
 
Lucy first joined Potter Clarkson in 1995 and was awarded the John Parker Memorial Award in 1996 for obtaining the highest overall mark in her intermediate trade mark practice examination.  
 
She became a senior associate in 2008 and works across our European offices.

 

Specialisms

Trade mark clearance, prosecution and enforcement, including customs enforcement, global portfolio management and strategy. Lucy has also worked extensively with a number of Potter Clarkson’s biotech and life science clients in the Nordics, working on IP strategy and protection in conjunction with colleagues from the patent and licensing and litigation teams. 

Education

Lucy read business law at the University of Huddersfield. She qualified as a UK Trade Mark Attorney in 2004.

Interests

Lucy enjoys spending time with her family and attending her three children’s many sporting activities. She is currently team manager for her daughter’s ice-skating team.
