Asraa obtained a Masters degree in Organic Chemistry from Stockholm University and moved to Tarragona in Spain to pursue her doctoral degree at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia. Her work involved cleaving C-C bonds in strained rings.
She later moved to Japan as a post-doctoral fellow and worked on developing a small molecule that increased the number of stomata on plant leaves.
Moreover, Asraa worked in Science Communication and Research promotion at the Institute of Transformative bio-molecules in Japan.
Asraa joined Potter Clarkson on 28th of October, 2019.
