BSc (Hons), PhD. Ling read biological sciences with molecular genetics at Warwick University and subsequently obtained a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Manchester. As a doctoral student, she developed optogenetic tools, based on natural light sensitive proteins, for characterising mechanisms of mammalian circadian organisation.
After developing a strong interest in the clinical applications of scientific research, Ling spent two years at GBI Research conducting pharmaceutical market analysis. During this time, she primarily focused on identifying trends in pharmaceutical innovation.
Ling joined the Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals team at Potter Clarkson in 2015.
