Luzia works in a wide range of design and engineering subject matter, with particular expertise in drafting and prosecuting patent applications concerning signal/image processing and materials science before the UK Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office, as well as other national patent offices.
Luzia studied Aerospace Systems Engineering at the University of Glasgow before completing her PhD in Neuroimaging at UCL, developing novel methods to improve data quality in Magnetoencephalography (MEG).
Luzia read Aerospace Systems Engineering at the University of Glasgow, after which she worked as an Engineer in the R&D department of a multinational company in Austria.Following on from this, Luzia completed a PhD in Neuroimaging at UCL’s Institute of Neurology, before once more returning to working in the private sector.
Luzia joined Potter Clarkson in April 2017, and works with clients in the Engineering sector.
Luzia is the author of several academic papers which have been published in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals. She has also presented her research at national and international conferences and seminars.
