Potter Clarkson's living gallery presents Monica Maja Richardson

We are thrilled to announce the unveiling of our third Little Van Gogh installation, featuring the extraordinary work of Monica Maja Richardson, a London-based artist.

For Monica, the need to paint is as essential as breathing. In her words, “It’s the most natural thing we do every day, yet the most precious. And that’s exactly how I see my painting process, like breathing; it’s beautiful, it’s natural, and I couldn’t survive if I couldn’t do that.”

A self-taught abstract painter, Monica is heavily inspired by the works of Jackson Pollock and upon discovering his paintings realised that “Art is not something that you learn. It’s something that you feel.”

The Nottingham office is honoured to host Monica's art and looks forward to supporting and showcasing other talented artists in the coming months.
