Specialising in non-contentious intellectual property work, and with over 30 years’ experience, Mark is well recognised as an expert in the field of IP law.

Adept at working across multiple sectors and with companies of all sizes, Mark is an experienced IP strategist and provides clients with expert advice on the negotiation of a wide range of IP and IT-related commercial agreements, including collaboration agreements and licences of patents, trade marks and other intellectual property rights (including software licences). He also advises on ownership issues around intellectual property assets, including those arising in an employment context, as well as providing strategic counsel on protection and exploitation.  
 
In addition to his specialism in non-contentious matters, Mark has a wealth of experience in dealing with IP-related disputes and calls upon this when advising on commercial agreements, as well as possible infringement situations. 

Mark joined Potter Clarkson in August 2017 to further strengthen the litigation and licensing team - one of the largest of its type in the UK.
