How We Live Our Values: Ambition

What motivates me is seeing a client’s idea actually become something real - something that makes a difference. Whether it’s a product that reaches the market, a new drug that improves lives, or a new technology that changes the way we live, being part of that journey together with the client is really rewarding. And for me, a big part of that process is understanding not only their invention, not just how it works, but what the client's aims actually are. That insight ultimately helps them take their idea from paper to something that matters.

In My Own Words

As a patent attorney, you're in a unique position to work on a broad range of technologies and understand how new inventions work. You also get involved with businesses at an early stage, helping protect their innovations and bring products to market.

It’s a rewarding career where I learn something new every day and work closely with passionate inventors and ambitious companies. Seeing a product on the shelves and knowing you helped protect the IP behind it is especially satisfying.
