Top tier in Managing Intellectual Property World IP Survey 2017

09 March 2017

We are delighted to have once again maintained our top tier position for patent prosecution in the Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) Survey 2017.

MIP’s exclusive and highly-regarded survey of the world IP market provides a unique perspective on IP Practice – based on the experience of hundreds of clients and practitioners worldwide.  MIP state that the survey is not simply a list of the biggest firms, but rather “a qualitative ranking of the leading firms in each category, and reveals which firms are rated by their peers for the strength of their expertise and the depth of their ability to service clients.”

This achievement followed what was an unprecedented year of development for the Firm. This included not only the opening of Swedish offices in Stockholm and Lund, but also the recruitment of three senior specialist IP solicitors to assist with the creation of our new 11-strong Dispute Resolution and Commercial department (“DRAC”), which enables the firm to give the full range of contentious and non-contentious IP legal advice.

In reaction to the MIP result, Andrew Argyle, Practice Director, commented. “We are thrilled to have maintained our long-standing ranking as a top tier UK firm. To receive this recognition is very humbling and means a great deal to us as a Firm. We are proud of the work we undertake for our clients and are pleased to see this reflected in the independent client and competitor research undertaken for this survey.”

As a Firm we also hold a number of other industry awards, view these here
