Andrew Argyle

Practice Director

As practice director, Andrew brings a wealth of experience both in legal practice, as a commercial litigator, and in executive management.

After spending over 25 years in private practice with both Shakespeares (now Shakespeare Martineau) – where he was managing partner for five years – and Langleys, Andrew remains on the solicitors' roll as a non-practising solicitor.

His extensive management experience of professional service organisations has also seen him hold positions including chief executive of leading barristers' set, Zenith Chambers, and a director of PAMIA, the mutual insurance company that carries the professional indemnity insurance for over 95% of the UK and Ireland’s patent and trade mark profession.

He was appointed practice director at Potter Clarkson in January 2014 and is a member of the board.

Executive management

Andrew read law at the University of Birmingham and attended the College of Law (now University of Law) for his solicitor’s finals.
