Daniel Madriz Sørensen

Daniel has a strong academic research background, gained from PhD and postdoctoral research.

Daniel specialised in immunology and RNA biology during his academic career at the University of Copenhagen. His PhD and postdoc research involved mainly developing drug screening platforms, genetic engineering and mass spectrometry techniques to decipher the roles of glycosyltransferases in human health and disease.

During his career he has authored several publications in the field of glycobiology and biochemistry.

Daniel joined Potter Clarkson in December 2022 and works in the biotechnology and life sciences team.

Molecular biology, glycobiology, immunology, microbiology, disease biomarkers and drug screening.

Education

Daniel studied biotechnology (BSc and MSc) at the University of Copenhagen before obtaining a PhD in cellular and genetic medicine at the same university. During his PhD, he authored several research articles in the field of glycobiology.

Outside work, Daniel enjoys playing the guitar, biking and catching up with friends.
