Kristine joined Potter Clarkson in an Of Counsel role. She brings a wealth of legal and industry expertise and has been instrumental in our drive to develop our Nordic presence.

Having worked in many of the major law firms in Norway before founding Advokat Kristine Snyder AS, Kristine has built up extensive experience in managing, protecting and enforcing IP rights, including trade marks, designs and copyright, domain name acquisition and transfer, as well as competition law.

She specialises in trade mark portfolio management and trademark dispute resolution, including developing trademark strategies, providing availability and infringement opinions, carrying out trademark prosecutions and supervising external trademark counsel and trademark enforcement actions, as well as in negotiations, licensing, settlement agreements and litigation.

She has successfully managed effective pre-trial, arbitration, mediation and trial strategies to oversee case-handling and settlement negotiations for different IP matters.  She also has extensive case and litigation experience in the field of unfair competition in regard to the Marketing Control Act.

Kristine also brings a wealth of industry experience, most notably in media and telecoms, oil and gas and fishing and aquaculture.  This is complemented with first-hand experience of the tech start up market as CEO of Nomono, the developers of a state of the art audio solution, which positions Kristine perfectly to give expert guidance to the start-up market so important to Potter Clarkson.
