A member of the Dispute Resolution and Commercial team at Potter Clarkson, Dave specialises in both contentious and non-contentious Intellectual Property Law, with a current focus on confidentiality law and biotechnology. Dave has experience in non-contentious commercial agreements including consultancy agreements, licensing arrangements and business to business supply contracts.
Dave undertook an Undergraduate Degree in Law at the University of Durham before completing his Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC) at Nottingham Law School. During his first two years of qualification, Dave undertook the Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice at Oxford University.
Having originally trained and qualified at a leading national law firm from 2012 until 2017, Dave spent a year with MyUnidays Ltd, the world’s largest Student Affinity Network, assisting them with their international expansion across a further 83 countries. Dave joined Potter Clarkson in April 2018.
Having played rugby throughout University and law school, Dave remains an aficionado of the game but no longer plays regularly. Dave also is a keen cyclist, runner and enjoys modern languages, more recently learning elementary Spanish and French. Dave enjoys travel, live music and new challenges.
