Oliver is an experienced IP solicitor, with expertise in litigating complex and high value matters across all intellectual property rights; negotiating and drafting a broad range of IP licences and commercial agreements; and providing strategic advice on IP protection, exploitation and infringement. His experience includes 6 months seconded to a leading International pharmacy-led health and beauty group, working on a range of IP and commercial matters.
He gained his law degree from the University of Sheffield and then went on complete a diploma in legal practice at Nottingham Law School. Having qualified as a solicitor in 2010, he then went on to obtain his post graduate diploma in Intellectual Property Law & Practice at the University of Oxford.
Oliver joined Potter Clarkson as a Senior Associate in August 2016, and is a founding member of the Dispute Resolution & Commercial team. Before joining Potter Clarkson, Oliver spent 8 years at a leading national IP practice.
