Protecting the Hidden Value in AI and Data Innovations

As digital technology becomes increasingly ubiquitous in industries that have traditionally considered themselves to be anything but digital, businesses must think about their digital assets when it comes to developing an IP strategy that will help them maximise the value of their innovation.

That’s the view of patent attorney Christopher Hartland and business strategy expert René Giese, who believe that many businesses are missing a trick when it comes to identifying the value in their digital developments. This is particularly true as more and more business embrace digital innovation by implementing AI and data into both their innovations and day-to-day practices.

In this interactive presentation and workshop, Christopher and René will examine the wide range of digital IP that businesses create in the course of their growth journey - from automation and enhanced manufacturing processes to the data generated from its operations – and explore how to best protect that IP in a way that maximizes company value. Run in conjunction with Danish Business Angels, the primary aim of this event is to bring together investors, start-ups and larger scale companies into one room to foster an exciting discussion about how we can ensure that all of the value in a business is being properly captured.
