Potter Clarkson doubles down on best in class London offer with further senior hire

Andy Millmore is the latest big-hitting litigator to join Potter Clarkson’s growing London IP team, further building on the firm’s stellar creative industries expertise in the capital after the arrival of fellow senior litigator, Mark Kramer, earlier this year.

Coming hot on the heels of the firm’s recent move to larger premises in the heart of the City, Andy arrives from Harbottle & Lewis, where he spent nearly 20 years as a commercial litigator, following 10 years as a partner at Macfarlanes, with a keen focus on the creative industries across a diverse client base, including publishing houses, media organisations, advertising agencies and consumer goods businesses.

Regularly acknowledged as a leading industry professional by Legal 500, Chambers and Partners and Managing IP’s IP Stars, Andy is a hugely important addition to the firm’s rapidly expanding litigation and licensing practice.

Commenting on the news, partner Mark Kramer, who heads up the firm’s London litigation and licensing team, says:

We are absolutely delighted to welcome someone of Andy’s calibre to the senior ranks of our litigation and licensing team. When I joined the firm earlier in the year, our mission was very much to build a best in class London offer and Andy’s arrival as a Consultant further enhances our extensive credentials, particularly in the creative industries space. Andy is well known in the industry for his depth of knowledge and clarity of advice and his vast experience and sector knowledge will significantly enhance our growing London practice.”

On joining the firm, Andy said:

At this stage in my career I was looking for a fresh challenge including the opportunity to contribute to a genuinely specialist intellectual property practice. Potter Clarkson offered everything I was looking for - and more.

“The firm’s international reach, combined with its full-service offering and commercial approach to IP makes for a particularly stimulating and innovative working environment.”
