How We Live Our Values: Ambition

As a trainee trade mark attorney, I'm driven by a desire to understand the nuances of intellectual property law and the evolving commercial landscapes that shape brand identity. I’m always asking not just what a mark represents, but why it matters: culturally, commercially, legally and strategically. This mindset fuels my commitment to learning, challenging assumptions and approaching each case with both analytical precision and creative curiosity.

In My Own Words

My experience working at the UKIPO opened my eyes to the weird and wonderful world of trade marks. I was instantly hooked by the variety. One moment reviewing a product line of my favourite chocolate biscuits, the next looking at technologies designed for space exploration.

Now, through both my studies and day-to-day role, I am still amazed by the diversity of the work. I enjoy supporting businesses across a wide range of industries and love that this job constantly feeds the never-ending itch of curiosity in my brain.
