Cameron is a chartered trade mark attorney with expertise in trade mark protection, prosecution and strategy in the UK and before the European Union Intellectual Property Office, whose insights have been included in a number of publications.
He joined Potter Clarkson in September 2019.
Specialisms
Cameron has experience in a large number of sectors, but specialises in food and drink, automotive and sports related IP work. Cameron has worked with start ups and entrepreneurs, as well as many of the largest and most recognisable brands in industry.
Cameron has also spent time on secondment with a major retailer, and brings an in depth appreciation for the branding of fast moving consumer goods.

Education
Cameron read philosophy at the University of Stirling before studying for a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (GDL) from City, University of London. He obtained his Postgraduate Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice from Queen Mary University of London and Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice from Nottingham Trent University.

Interests
Cameron spends his time outside the office podcasting about fantasy football and attempting (unsuccessfully) to entertain his two young sons. Cameron is also an award winning home brewer, having taken a gold medal at the National Homebrew Championships 2020, for his IPA "Cheers for Waiting III".
In his youth, Cameron was a national champion swimmer, and he remains highly interested in sport at all levels.
