Senior Associate - Trade Mark Attorney

Edwina is a qualified Trade Mark Attorney who advises clients in relation to UK and international trade mark strategy.

With a strong business and commercial background, she manages the portfolios for a variety of clients, from start-ups to large international companies.  

Before joining the trade mark profession, the majority of Edwina’s work was within marketing and advertising, both in the UK and Paris, which strengthened her experience in corporate branding and eventually led her to a career in trade mark law. 

Prior to joining Potter Clarkson in April 2018, Edwina worked in the IP team of a large firm in London.

 

Specialisms

Conducting clearance searches and domain name searches, preparing risk analysis reports, filing and prosecuting trade marks, conducting trade mark oppositions, invalidity actions and revocation actions and drafting IP assignment agreements, licences and co-existence agreements

Education

Edwina studied French at the University of London and then gained a master’s degree in international business from Nottingham University Business School. She then began her legal training at a firm in London, whilst completing her Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice.
