Partner - Patent Attorney

An internationally respected attorney with around 25 years’ IP experience encompassing both in-house and private practice, Saiful brings a wealth of knowledge to his work.

Although he practises in a number of technical specialities within the designs and engineering and electronics and computing groups, he has developed his practice, and that of the firm, primarily in relation to software inventions, including those using artificial intelligence. He joined Potter Clarkson in late 2004, following periods in-house at Nokia Corporation and a large London private practice firm. He became a partner in 2007 and has supported the firm’s internal operations in various capacities, including being a member of the Board for the best part of a decade.
