How We Live Our Values: Excellence
I relate to all the firm’s values, but I connect most with excellence, because my focus is on helping the firm run smoothly and supporting colleagues to work at their best. While I have legal experience, I’ve spent around fifteen years in senior management roles as managing partner, CEO, and practice director. These experiences, along with my study of people, mean I’m often the go-to person for a wide range of questions and situations. Whether it’s resolving issues, offering guidance, or helping shape decisions, my aim is to maintain the high standards our work demands.
In My Own Words
I’ve always had a love of people and a desire to help them. My Christian faith has shaped that outlook, and I’ve studied people through bespoke training and decades of professional experience.
I therefore find it particularly rewarding to be someone colleagues can turn to for advice or support, whether that’s a personal challenge or advising the executive board on a strategic or management issue. In many situations, I draw on past experience to help guide the best approach.
Life experience is a precious and valuable resource. It informs the support I offer at Potter Clarkson and also enriches my principal hobby, writing novels. I’m blessed to have now written five thrillers.
