Sanjay is a highly respected trade mark attorney with a long-standing career supporting a wide range of clients across multiple sectors.
Sanjay advises on trade mark strategy and brand protection, combining private practice expertise with in-house experience as trade marks manager at Unilever.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA), he sits on its Council and serves on its Education, Policy and Development Committee. As chair of CITMA’s Education and Training Committee from 2010 to 2013, he oversaw the introduction of the university-based examination system for UK trade mark attorney qualification.
Committed to developing future talent, Sanjay regularly lectures students training to become trade mark attorneys and has presented papers in the UK and internationally on behalf of Potter Clarkson, CITMA and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
